THE BRIEF
Develop a campaign idea to consistently communicate the all action, commitment of cricketers playing for their country, England.

THE SOLUTION
I designed the look and feel for this campaign at the initial pitch stage which was won, the same design was taken through to create the live campaign. I created a campaign design that was versatile enough to be used with both mens and ladies cricket. Using bold action packed imagery and a rectangular lockup that encompassed the campaign line. This lockup was created to be interchangeable with a variation of headlines creating a strong visual unit.

Belvedere Vodka

THE BRIEF
Create brand presence in the profitable and growing lower-tempo summertime outdoor drinking occasion by creating a luxury sociable pitcher cocktail with an incredible serve.

THE SOLUTION
I came up with the creative idea ‘The Garden’, a drink served in a watering can on a tray of grass, driving intrigue and creating theatre at the table during the summer. For the cocktail inside i suggested a twist on old-fashioned lemonade which I worked with the mixologist to create and was then customisable by the customers through the mini herb garden served with the drink. 

I creatively led the project from conception through to completion, Working closely with the strategist. I directed the photoshoot and designed the look of all material such as the watering can, tray, POS as well as the branding and pitching concepts to the client.

The Shard

THE BRIEF
Communicate the high-end and premium feel of the experience, whilst establishing the View from the Shard as a must-see London visitor attraction.

THE SOLUTION
The creative idea 'High Definition' was created, for which a Valentines Day campaign and half term promotion was created in the form of print ads for various publications and online banners.

For the half-term promotion, ‘Kids Go Free’ I came up with the idea of the most exciting game of ‘I-Spy in High Definition’, which lived as online banners and in various publications. For the Valentines Day campaign I assisted in editing the photography and art working up the campaign ready for print. I also created the concepts and storyboards for the online banners for both the Valentines Day campaign and the half term promotion.

Accountz Packaging

THE BRIEF
Accountz is an accounting software company that provides products for both domestic and commercial use. They needed to build their brand equity with a consumer group that held limited accounting knowledge. The brand was positioned as easy to use, supportive and good value for money: ‘accounting made easy’. New packaging was need to create stand-out on shelf and to cut through in a competitive market.

THE SOLUTION
I art directed and executed this project from conception to completion for which common graphs were recreated using everyday objects. This brought a new playful edge to the Accountz brand. I felt the need to keep it simple echoing the brand positioning. Using bright bold colours made the packaging stand out agains the stock like imagery used by their competitors. The software was distributed across the Apple store, PC World and throughout Europe.

Accountz boxed software quadrupled in market share between 2009 and 2011, making the Accountz brand the second largest seller of retail boxed accounting software in the UK. They have also been featured in major financial news media including Money Week and the Financial Times.

The Greedy Book

THE BRIEF
The Greedy Book is a wish list site that allows users to make and share wish lists of the gifts they want from online stores. This was the birth of a new brand and it needed to establish itself as the leading site for giving and receiving presents. A full website, emails, brand videos, user tutorial videos, branding, tone of voice and iPhone app was needed.

THE SOLUTION
The brand idea ‘Greed is good’ I created with my creative partner. We both art directed and implemented the execution at all stages and across all media. The outcome was an intuitive website that incorporated a unique and innovative bookmark application – allowing users to add items to their lists from anywhere online. Click-throughs and purchases are tracked using multiple data feeds from affiliated merchants which generate commissions for The Greedy Book. A cheeky tone of voice was created which meant that the brand could be brave in the delivery of their messages.

The brand mark (question mark) was created to be versatile in the hope that in the future, the mark would take different forms, evolving the brand on.

Orange Android France

THE BRIEF
To create a website in which customers can link through from the Orange France website to gain a better understanding of benefits of android.

THE SOLUTION
Working with the experience planner as lead designer, we created wireframes, designs and concepts taking into consideration the user journey and how to present information that was easy to digest. This project consisted of emails, full website, and mini animated videos for which i concepted the story.

Google Chromecast Christmas Promotion

A Christmas tree shape constructed out of card that housed the Chrome Casts.

Bradnam Joinery

THE BRIEF
Reaffirm Bradnam Joinery as the joiners of choice for Funeral Directors through new advertising.

THE SOLUTION
I designed a series of print advertisements.

The idea came from the thought that for over 100 years Bradnam Joinery have dedicated themselves to delivering a trustworthy, reliable and quality service to Funeral Directors across the country. Not just focussed on making quality products Brandam have always seen relationships with their customers as the most important part of their business. Bradnam pride themselves on their mutual heritage and the knowledge that their partnership with Funeral Directors will continue long into the future.

Borne

THE BRIEF
Borne by Elise Berger is a high-end fashion label, Borne clothes are very personal items that you feel innately comfortable in and can be worn anytime, anywhere. Borne evolved from a desire to provide a new sense of individuality to clothing and focus on the details that make a design unique. An identity, brand guidelines and website was needed.

THE BRIEF
It was important to translate the core thought that the client had. This manifested itself as a ‘zero’ within the branding. Borne by Elise Berger has gone on to appear in various publications such Vougue, Stella, The Observer, Grazia, Office and Cosmopolitan to name a few. With celebrities such as Sienna Miller also wearing Borne by Elise Berger.

Hovis

THE BRIEF
Hovis an established bread making brand had found that although it had a large follower base on Facebook, engagement rates were falling and they needed a new strategy and content plan to reverse this decline. They wanted a shift in tone towards lifestyle conversations, male to female.

THE SOLUTION
A digital/social strategy was created with the core idea of ‘Good Today’. By keeping on strategy at the very start of the project I saw a need to alter the tone of voice for the page and giving each and every post more of an identity for fans to connect back to the brand with. An average interactions rate was increased, expanding Hovis’s weekly reach through ideating and creating engaging posts on a regular basis.

Total Facebook ‘Reach’ increased over 5 times the previous average value. The demographics of the fans shifted strongly to the target ID.

Google Summer Squad

THE BRIEF
To design the branding along with supporting collateral for Google Summer Squad, an 8 week coding program designed for kids aged 8 to 13.

THE SOLUTION
I lead this project and designed the Google Summer Squad logo and from this, the rest of the collateral for the 8 week program was created such as badges, t-shirts, program leaflets.

The Spice Tailor

THE BRIEF
The Spice Tailor sought to break the indulgent stereotype of Indian food and offer a healthy alternative. Consequently, they created a range of light and fresh Indian sauces that redefine home-cooked Indian food.

The challenge was to develop a campaign and brand idea that reflected the brand’s creative and vibrant approach, moving consumer perception of Indian food from heavy and unhealthy to simple and light.

THE SOLUTION
A brand idea ‘Rethink Indian’ was created, this was executed through ‘Spice Night’, an interactive digital campaign.

Mirroring what the product does for the sauce sector, the idea encouraged consumers to rethink Indian cooking at home. The Spice Night campaign was developed to secure the buy-in of new consumers to the brand, and also drive sales with their major retailer. Spice Night came in the form of a weekly cook-along with Anjum Anand, hosted on Facebook with weekly promotions to drive repeat visits and purchase. A Facebook app was created to facilitate interaction with the brand, allowing users to map their culinary journey, communicate with friends and enter competitions.

I directed and designed all communication for the brand from being involved in the creation of the brands overarching idea through to directing the filming of the videos and design of digital application.

Eurostar: Royal Wedding social

THE BRIEF
To come up with a creative idea surrounding the royal wedding in order to sell seats to London.

THE SOLUTION
Working with the copywriter, I came up with the idea of ‘London Luck’ using the traditional saying Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue and repurposing it for Eurostar.

Enterprise

THE BRIEF
Enterprise Inns is one of the largest PubCos in the UK. A communications platform was created ‘empower’ for the ‘Great British Publican’ where they could receive regular news and be updated on the latest. The news focused on giving both Publicans and staff the information they need to feel empowered.

THE SOLUTION
The communications include a monthly newspaper and deals supplement, a weekly email, a regular text message service, and a fortnightly staff email.  This in turn helps to change the perception and performance of Enterprise and its pubs. The printed and digital communications were sent out to more than 5,000 Publicans increasing the impressions by over 50%.

Google - Mobile World Congress

THE BRIEF
To design the entire google event space for the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona. With the aim to suprise, delight attendees.

THE SOLUTION

I was involved in concepting and designing each of the rooms and surrounding space creating eye catching visuals that showcased the brand. It was important to find a balance so that the creative would not over power the space it was designed for. A total of 7 meetings rooms along with a number of corridors, general space, reception, staircases, doors and outdoor bridge concepts were created and designed. 

Google Shop

THE BRIEF
To design an in store leaflet to be handed out in the 'Google Shop' month on month, intended for customer to take away and later read about what the store offers. The second part of the brief was to design something that would fit with the google brand but was still different as there were no 'Google Shop' guidelines.

THE SOLUTION

I concepted and designed a concertina style leaflet that would be small enough to fit into a handbag or walk around with and still hold the amount of content needed. The cover would change every month depending on the months theme. As the majority of the content pushed in store classes/tutorials the inside was designed with a 2 column grid that visually looked like building blocks this gave a hint to the notion of learning. These bold block colours paired with imagery broke the content down into digestible bites. The design moving forward was used as a template for the future coms.

Santa Mail

I concepted and implemented a design that would guide the user through using a subtle arrow like feature, each email also had a different header illustration communicating what the rest of it was about. 

Middle Temple

THE BRIEF

Middle Temple one of the four Inns of Court is a modern institution with a long and distinguished history. Middle Temple’s core purposes include the education and training of students and barristers. They wanted a logo refresh with a set of brand guidelines for use across the organisation on all internal and external communications to bring them inline with the 21st century and to create consistency across their brand.

THE SOLUTION

I led and implemented the overhaul of the logo refresh and guidelines ensuring consistency of brand communications moving forward. To date several different logos/crests were used to represent Middle Temple - both internally and externally, and whilst there are clear similarities between each there was no clear consistency. It was important not to lose key aspects of the logo which were core to the heritage of the society.

To redesign an email template that they could use for future newletters.

Using the website as a base, I concepted and designed an email template that would both be engaging and informative with space for inviting imagery paired with long body copy. With it was sent a guide on how the email should look depending on the circumstances of imagery and length of copy.
